🐑 Wild Shades™ is an exquisite wool. It is part of our Corriedale sheep wool from ranches in Chilean Patagonia. It has a fluffy and soft texture and a twist that produces nice stitch definition.
To produce Wild Shades™ we have obtained the precious natural colored wool, and it has been hand-separated into three shades from chocolate to light gray and then processed in small batches for washing and spinning. This means that the colors are not pure and have light or dark streaks, which gives a unique depth and texture to the color.
The colors of Wild Shades™ can be combined with each other or with our Baby Corriedale™ in its raw color or in its various hand-dyed colors.

The history of your threads
The history of your threads
In Chilean Patagonia, dedicated producers with over 30 years of experience produce this highest quality wool.
The sheep live on free-grazing pastures, which preserves the grasslands and ensures no animal cruelty. Our products are 100% Mulesing-free.
Our wool is hand-washed and spun on a small scale by expert natural fiber artisans in the city of Talca.
It then continues its journey at Bagual, where it is dyed with eco-friendly, heavy metal-free dyes to protect your skin, your loved ones, and the environment. Our vibrant colors enhance the texture and properties of these yarns in your garments.

This is a semi-industrial product where multiple steps are done by hand. We want you to know that you might find small pieces of vegetable matter in your yarn, as well as a bit of sand when winding it. Both come from the Patagonian grasslands. (We told you that these sheep like to rub themselves in sandbanks 🤭).
Our wool is spun in a semi-industrial mill, and you might find some irregularities in thickness and twist in your yarns. We like it; it gives it identity and texture and makes each garment unique.
Your skeins are hand-dyed, achieving semi-solid and variegated colors. We suggest buying all the skeins for your project at the same time and alternating skeins while knitting if you want to avoid pooling in your garments.
