Indomable Cowl
Indomable Cowl is a cowl knitted with two colors of DK weight or light worsted yarn. It is knitted in the round from the top down and seamlessly. It has 4 sections, each with different stitch patterns. It is very simple to customize, as you can lengthen or shorten each section or also adjust the width of the cowl by casting on more or fewer stitches at the beginning. Each of the sections contains the necessary information so that you can modify the cowl as you prefer. The cowl has a trapezoidal shape, meaning it widens as you go from one section to another. This is achieved without making increases, as it is the stitches themselves used in each section that allow for a different gauge.
Sizes: 1 (2)
Gauge: 13 stitches x 30 rounds (10 cm/4 in) with the main needles in
garter stitch, knitted in the round and blocked.
Suggested needle size:
4.5 mm/US 7 main circular needle, or the size needed to obtain the required gauge.
4 mm/US 6 circular needle or smaller than the main needle for knitting the elastic ribbing at the beginning.
Cable length may vary as needed. For knitting small circumferences, you can use double-pointed needles, short circular needles, or long circular needles using the magic loop technique.

The history of your threads
The history of your threads
In Chilean Patagonia, dedicated producers with over 30 years of experience produce this highest quality wool.
The sheep live on free-range pastures, which preserves the grasslands, and are free from animal cruelty. Our products are 100% Mulesing-free.
Our wool is hand-washed and spun on a small scale by expert natural fiber artisans in the city of Talca.
Then it continues its journey to Bagual, where it is dyed with ecological dyes
free of heavy metals to protect your skin, your loved ones, and the environment. Our vibrant colors enhance the texture and properties of these yarns in your garments.

This is a semi-industrial product where multiple steps are done by hand. We want you to know that you might find small pieces of vegetable matter in your yarn, as well as a little bit of sand when you wind it. Both come from the Patagonian grasslands. (We told you these sheep like to rub themselves in sandbanks ðŸ¤).
Our wool is spun in a semi-industrial mill, and you might find some irregularities in thickness and twist in your yarn. We like it; it gives identity and texture and makes each garment unique.
Your skeins are hand-dyed, resulting in semi-solid and variegated colors. We suggest buying all the skeins for your project at the same time and alternating skeins while knitting if you want to avoid pooling in your garments.
